This was a recovery week before I jump back into building mileage. For the last few weeks I have been holding my mileage fairly consistent at 30 miles a week, since my goal race date was set back by over a month. I felt good all week, so it was hard sometimes to not go a little fast or do a bit too many hills since the mileage of all my runs were low.
I had a harder than planned run on Wednesday when I did a section of the AT that I hadn’t been on before which was really steep. After that, I took it easier on the hills until Monday when I put in a good amount of vertical on another AT section. I also kayaked on Monday, even though I was pretty wiped out from a social weekend. Not much to say about a recovery week, It served it’s purpose and I am feeling ready to start getting serious about training and bumping up mileage.
